Aims & Objectives Print E-mail

Our key aim is to alleviate cruelty and deliver animal welfare in Oxfordshire.  Our objectives are many fold and in support of our key aim we are involved in many areas of animal care.

Branch resource and development is an important means in providing the care and support for local animals, many of which can be in desperate need.

We support and assist the National organisation in their work in and around Oxfordshire; we often take over and pick up the pieces.....

after the National Inspectorate have either acquired or removed animals from danger or neglect.  We ensure that animals placed into in to our care are restored to full health and socialised, ready for re-homing with suitable adopters.  We ensure by 'home visiting' that people adopting our animals understand the commitment required.

We assist people on 'means-tested' benefits with some of the costs of neutering and emergency veterinary treatment, to make sure some of the more vulnerable animals that otherwise would not get to see a vet when in need, receive the treatment they need.

We provide a subsidised Pet Microchipping service throughout the area and at regular public events.  We also Campaign and work on many of the issues raised by the National RSPCA.

All of this work is both very expensive and time consuming, we are a registered charity responsible for raising our own funds locally and rely entirely on the generosity and goodwill of local supporters and animal lovers.  If you would like to help us in anyway please register with us completely free of charge and without obligation.
